Don't hesitate, purchase the complete series. If you enjoy suspense, you will love it. No Cons at all, Pros, HBO has some of the best writers to backup the quality of this show. The Sopranos is very addictive along with most other series's from the HBO Collection. This is my absolute favorite series of all time.

I never watched the Sopranos until now. When it was playing years ago, I would catch a few minutes of it, but would move on to something else since I thought I wouldn't really get the story from the middle. Writing this now, I've watched season 1 and 2. Season 1 was great. There was a point to each episode I thought. There was this sort of bigger picture and each week built up to it. So I was eager to watch season 2. To my surprise and disappointment, season 2 did none of this. Each week seemed to be structured on its own and jumped from one place to another. The episodes didn't seem like a foundation for the whole. Characters came and went. And what seemed real enough in the first season, the second season portrayed absolute fiction. I know the series wants to have the entire look into the life a mobster, but there was an unnecessary infusion of discord and drama that they try to bring to the family affair. And the little they did of showing the mobster on the field, to me, was overshadowed by the use of lifeless and highly unintelligent characters to illustrate how mobsters can manipulate and destory them. I further noticed more humor in the script than the first season, which was funny, but was off point from what I saw in the first season. I'll give the series another go and watch season 3 maybe sometime later in the future since I would in fact give season 1 five stars, but for now season 2 is where I end it.

I am a huge Sopranos fan, but never bought the full seasons due to the price of the new collections in the stores. I was very happy with the great condition of the discs and box...I am very pleased with this purchase!
