The VIORE PLC7V95 7-Inch Portable Television is designed for you to enjoy TV programs anywhere, in the office during work, in the hotel during travel, or in the car to entertain the passengers. The power source is by large capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery for long play time. The operation is extremely easy and simple with user-friendly interface. With 7-Inch widescreen active matrix TFT screen, you can enjoy TV programs anywhere the signal is available. Using the supplied external rod antenna, the integrated ATSC tuner will let you select any digital channels that are available by over-the-air broadcast. You can also enjoy the Cable or Satellite programs by connecting the Cable/Satellite receiver box to Audio/Video inputs that are provided in the right side of the TV. You can watch DVD/Blu-ray Disc movies by connecting the DVD/Blu-ray Disc player to Audio/Video inputs. In addition to Audio/Video inputs, the USB port and the 3-in-1 (SD/MS/MMC) card reader are provided for playing the digital media files. When I purchase something new, I expect it to be new. Box previously opened like from a wal-mart shelf. Plastic screen cover had been removed, wires poorly folded back into zip-lock bags. Who ever used it did not charge system before use, now I have a 30 minute battery life. Don't care to use more of my cell phone minutes on hold, so this was a live and learn moment. Never again from them.
br / The picture and sound are good, but it only has a digital automatic tuner. I was hoping for a manual tuner to get a station in and then tweak the antenna, not happening. The flash card works well, though a little slow to load.
br /Living in hurricane alley, I am needing the longer battery life. For the price I paid , I'll just bust into it and run an external battery adapter.

I am disappointed in reception. Television shows availabe using just the built-in antenna are limited to just a few, and they are not major networks.

This little media player is AWESOME. First and foremost, it was not even listed or expected by me to find a QAM TUNER!!!!! I plugged my basic cable and did a scan for channels and there were the Clear QAM HD channels I can't even get with Windows Media Center. That feature alone made it worth the money but let me go on. I formatted an 8GB SD card with a Macbook Pro as MS DOS and added an .AVI file to test - played it flawlessly! I haven't tried audio files or images yet.

br /Simply put, THIS UNIT IS WORTH THE MONEY.

br /The only thing I would say that's a bit critical would be the way the antenna plug aims out the side so it looks funny when the cable is plugged in, and the speakers could be a little better.

I am not sure why but this would not receive any stations. I even changed antennas and still nothing. All other attributes seemed reasonable...
