 Am in love with this TV July 15, 2010

I bought this TV to replace an old, much smaller TV/VCR combo went the tubes on that old CRT finally gave way. A relative of mine has a Samsung, and has always advocated the brand as top notch technology in the television area.

br /SIZE
br /perfect for me, much larger than my old TV, yet not so large as to allow it to fit comfortably into my bed room and view from a distance.

br /COLORS
br /The colors are great. Well-balanced, bright, vibrant, and refined. I did some scouting at my local best buy, and the model was sitting right next to a Panasonic equivalent model. The Panasonic was comparitively much dimmer and the colors less crisp.

br /SOUND
br /fairly good, a little on the softer side. For me, you have to go up to 30-40% up the bar to get a pretty audible sound. The quality is good in terms of treble and bass and the balance between. I am unaware of the difference between TRUSURROUND and normal stereo.

br /After much consideration and confusion I found the perfect television for my needs and requirements. Now, after three months I am happy to report I love the product. The quality of the image is beyond my expectations. It can do amazing things, many of which I have yet to use or completly understand. I have it mounted to the wall, hanging amongst many framed artworks and visually it fits in nicely with my decorative scheme.

Santa brought this great TV and we really loved it at first. Then 3 months later it just up and died. Now I have to send it back to Samsung for repairs (2 to 4 weeks). I am very upset and right now, I would tell you to stay away from this product!

The TV was purchased for my den as a second TV and I find that it meets all of my expectations for that application. The picture quality is great and the sound system matches the size of the room that I am using it in. The setup instructions are easy to follow and all settings were made in a matter of minutes and completely understandable. I would definately purchase this product again.
