Lasted 5 years with LOTS of abuse September 27, 2009

I had this headset for 5 years with constantly knocking it off my desk and having it land on the hard floor. It did the trick for a comfortable headset with decent sound and with mic. I also have the Bose QC 2, which has amazing sound...the sound of the this is not nearly as good BUT is good enough unless you are a serious audiophile. In that case you will want to spend a bit more cash. This is a value product and should be approached from that standpoint.

I used this intensively for 2.5 years before it broke.

br /Pros:
br /1. I simply loved this headset. The audio quality was excellent for watching online episodes, listening to songs, and playing games.
br /2. This is not a high end headset, it only does basic stuff with excellence.
br /3. I has them on for hours with no discomfort on ears at all.
br /4. Very affordable (when I bought it, it was for $19 in late 2005)

br /Cons:
br /1. It will eventually break down and when it does, the speaker on either sides stops to work and then you yank the connector near the laptop and it starts working. You will do that for a while until it completely stops working.
br /2. The cables may be too long for some people. I usually had to tie the most part of the cable with a plastic cable tie.
